I oppose the proposed ban.

You think you are creating a more "safe" environment, but are actually creating the exact opposite by one hundred (100) fold. Every mass shooting, except the very first one in Texas in the 60's has been perpetrated in a "gun free zone". Criminals ignore or just don't care and so break laws and terrorists use them to their advantage. What you will have created is not a "gun free zone" safe zone, but rather an increased risk, unsafe zone, "killing zone" for anyone who is bent on killing people.
