Another useless Gun Ban - I OPPOSE banning lawfully carried firearms in state agency buildings.

Another useless law and regulation trying to put a stop to something that isn't a problem.  We have enough laws on the books.  We have too many affecting our second amendment rights.  The implementation of this is more political posturing than good law.

Has there been a rash of shootings at state agencies?  Has the public caused problems at state agencies by firing or threatening a state employee with a pistol?  What actual problems are being addressed?

Stop putting laws into place that put more burden on our state employees and our state and local law enforcement.  Why are you setting up state agencies as a "gun free zone?"  Haven't we seen enough violence in gun free zones to learn that we are creating a situation that threatens the lives of our state employees?
