Executive Order 50

As a resident of Bedford County, where two journalists were slain in 2015, a mother of a Virginia Tech student who was on campus during the horrible mass shooting there, and a retired schoolteacher who had to teach children how to behave during an intruder/active shooter alert, I applaud Governor McAuliffe's efforts to ban firearms in executive branch agency offices. Other than security officers and police I can think o no reason why any other citizen would need to carry a firearm into these settings.

I am a gun owner and do not feel that this executive order in any way infringes on the rights described in the Second Amendment. Thank you.
