must amend VA and US Constitutions for this to be legal

The executive order and a law passed to achieve this is unconstitutional at the Commonwealth and federal levels. I find it appalling and undermining to the basic premise our republic is built upon to attempt to remove rights guaranteed by the laws that establish our government's existence. If this action is acceptable, is it also acceptable to remove my right to speech, due process, or even my right to live if I enter government property? Virginia played a key role in the establishment of this nation with the national government based upon ours. We don't need to set this example of betraying the power entrusted by the people. Especially not fr a useless restriction as this; there have been no shootings of note committed by a CHP holder in any government buildings in the Commonwealth.
