I oppose the ban and any infringement of personal safety

By taking away tools of personal safety and protection, you condone the murder and harm of all Virginia citizens. Criminals do not care about these restrictions of guns in/at locations. They will take a gun into these locations to commit murders and acts of violence regardless of restrictions. While the police are many, many, many minutes away, a CHP citizen is probably already on site. Also, if a CHP was allowed to be on site of the Virginia Tech shooting, less people would have become victims. The governor does not care about the safety and wellbeing of any Virginia citizen by passing this law. He is able to hide behind armed guards, whom are paid for by the Virginia tax payers. I am a CHP holder and I train to carry. It is an ignorant train of thought to think CHP holders do not train to carry. You, McAuliffe, have insulted me and many other law-abiding citizens by treating us like children. We the people can give aid and are the first line of defense against all threats until the first responders can arrive.
