I Strongly Oppose this Regulation

After reading several of the comments supporting the regulation to ban guns (almost everywhere) I am amazed at the number of people who feel no personal responsibility for their own safety or for that of their friends or classmates.

I suppose it is the result of a generation whom we have coddled and that never had to do much for themselves. Many commented that only police should be allowed to have guns in public. What happens when there is an active shooter situation and the police are several minutes away? I will tell you. People die.

You have no reason to fear someone with a CCP. Almost always they are well trained and versed in the use of their weapon and 99.9% of the time you won't even know they have it. In the situation above, beleive me, you would be glad to have them around.

Our freedoms are being chipped away, piece by piece, and I for one do not support additional destruction and theft of my God given right to self protection, on State property or anywhere else. After all, who IS the State or the Government? We Are! It was designed by the founders to place the power in the people.

Are we willing to become sheeple and give all responsibility for ourselves and our families to the State? If so, we will get what we deserve, as Benjamin Franklin said, "neither liberty nor security" will be ours.

Think about it if you dare.
