I'm against this proposed regulatory action.

I strongly object to any firearms ban in Virginia state buildings!  There is no justification for this ban - it will not make citizens safer.  In fact, "gun free zones" are primary targets for criminals, terrorists, and the mentally disturbed, as documented in the vast majority of mass shootings for decades.

Virginia CHP holders are the most law abiding people in the Commonwealth, and this ban violates their right to protect themselves in state buildings.

Like the vast majority of citizens living in Virginia, I demand that this proposed regulatory action be withdrawn from consideration.
