Strongly Oppose Proposed Ban

The Governor's "emergency" ban was a politically motivated solution to a problem which does not exist. The actual problem is that so-called "gun free zones" are soft targets and death traps for the unsuspecting citizen.

The over 400,000 Virginia CHP holders have a record of criminal violence lower than that of law enforcement personnel. They are the protectors of themselves and those around them, and should be permitted to carry their sidearms whenever and wherever they please.
