"When you outlaw guns, only Outlaws will have them..." This statement has been uttered likely billions of times and has been ridiculed just as many times. However it does hold much truth. Gun control outside of the very basic tennants of no felons, no mentally ill, no people who commit domestic violence, and so on is absolutely contradictory to the tennants of the Constitution of this country. In truth, Gun Control was and still is driven by a racist agenda to keep guns out of the hands of minorities and out of the hands of the common folk. Politicians like to pass gun control laws while sitting under the watchful protection of men and women with guns. This level of hipocracy alone is enough for me to oppose any gun control bill in the world today. Also, I am curious, what are you politicians so afraid of? Why do you at every turn attempt to take firearms out of the hands of law-abiding citizens? Id it because you know that one day people will wise up to the fact that you are all, to some degree or another, for sale to the highest bidder and do not have the interests of the people who elect you at heart? Are you afraid that one day you will be forceably removed from your office as a result of your deceptions and corruption? I think instead of more gun control, we should look at more self-control amongst our politicians and maybe clean house a bit more often.
