This was an arbitrary decision by the Governor who clearly overstepped his mandate by vetoing legislation that would have ended the order. The only effect that this legislation has is to penalize law abiding citizens since criminals will not think twice to bring a weapon into a government space to commit a crime, in fact they may be emboldened since they will be sure not to face an armed citizen in the process of committing a crime.
