I strongly oppose the gun ban in state agency buildings

Did I miss something relating to a shooting in a state agency building by a CHP? I don't think I did. What I have missed is understanding the "Emergency" in the ban and also in understanding why it's needed in the first place. I am a law abiding citizen. One of the good guys! Why is the governor so bent on penalizing me and all other law abiding citizens of this great state. The criminal that carries in the building isn't going to care if there is a law against it or not, except for the fact that if it does become law, he will have a building to waltz right into without any worries as to if anyone has a weapon to deter what he has in mind.

This is the United States of America. The land of the free! This law is just another step to direct this GREAT country to a socialistic regime. With all due respect, Governor, do not trample on me and my rights to gain ground in your personal political agenda.

Ted Acord, Proud and law abiding citizen of the United States of America and the state of Virginia!
