This does nothing more than "fix" a problem that does not exist. Anyone intent on using a gun to commit a crime in state buildings will not be detered by this. It will deter law abiding citizens from entering state buildings or place a hardship on them by forcing them to leave their gun unattended somewhere- like in their car. Of course this is most likely the intended outcome of the Governor's Executive Order and this regulation anyway.
