I would like to know what problem this regulation proposes to solve. When was the last time someone LEGALLY carried a firearm into any state agency and committed a crime with it? Those who choose to carry ILLEGALLY could give two hoots about this regulation, and will do it anyway, free to cause whatever mayhem they'd like, with little to no resistance.
This regulation is just more red tape, infringing on the rights of the law-abiding.
We don't need red tape. We need solutions to violent crime (note: I did not specify gun crime - all violent crime is a problem). Let's look instead at mental health care, immigration issues, welfare reform, and any number of other things that can stem the crime rate.
