I strongly oppose gun ban in state agency buildings.

I strongly oppose gun ban in state agency buildings

First and foremost this is a Constitutional right and I do not believe the state has the right to limit it.

Further, you are creating many more gun-free-zone targets around the state and inviting attacks. You are also making citizens unsafe as they travel to and from these building, many of which are in sketchy areas. You are also making your employees vulnerable to attack. Not all agency buildings have armed security to protect them. The govenor, and his security detail, should not be exempt from this ban if it is made permenant.

In this current climate with all the turmoil I feel it is my RIGHT to protect myself.  I have broken no laws and I am a reponsible citizen and gun owner.  I have earned the right to carry my firearm and strongly oppose that right being restricted no matter where I may have to travel including state buildings.
