I oppose making State buildings gun-free zones

I oppose the governor making State buildings gun-free zones, he is endangering lives not making them safer. Since the 1960s all but two mass shootings have taken place in these dangerous, self defense free zones. This is a solution in search of a problem. A thinly veiled payback to McCauliffes political donors whose gun control fanaticism is well known.  If this is making people safer lead the governor can lead the way by disarming his security detail. Concealed carry permit holders are the most law abiding demographic, more so than police or clergy, let these people that have taken training and been through a thorough check carry in State buildings. That will enhance safety, his overreaching orders will do the opposite. Mac David
