Abortion has become a Democrat Party politically correct unscientific sacrament, rather than the serious social, ethical and medical dire dilemma that it is.  We have committed genocide by killing 60-80 million innocent American children and are now stealling the future--the children of S. American countries.   Secondly, science has progressed so we know we are killing innocent humans--something we wouldn't do to animals in the inhumane manner we kill human babies, with the full knowledge that their brains and nerves are so well developed that the pre-born babies are experiencing excruciating pain.  Thirdly, the facilities are often filthy and without sterile or safety equipment, and are staffed with people of questionable certification and ethical behavior, who often go from state to state running from medical societies in other states due to past botched abortions, malpractice, etc.  Not to mention the illegal traffic in baby parts, sometimes dissected after the baby is born and is alive--done with no anesthesia.  The current laws at least make the taking of innocent babies a little safer for the mother, and decreases the risk of infection, uterine perforations and death of the mother and they should not be amended.
