Please Reject Governor's Proposed Weakening of Women's Health and Safety Standards

As a husband and father of four adult women I am appalled at the Governor's weakening health and safety standards for women in any area, especially with abortions.

Far from making abortion more safe his proposed changes seek to sacrifice women and their rights to safe and reasonable healthcare to the economic demands of a particular big industry, one which contributed heavily to his election campaign.

Recent dramatic and mounting evidence of illegal practices, numerous health code violations and overall sloppy medical practices only serve to highlight the sad fact that this big industry can not be trusted to care for women and follow even the most basic legal and ethical medical practices.

Even the abortion industry's attempt to falsely separate "surgical" from "medication" (drug induced) abortions reveal the disingenous nature of the industry leaders, all for the sake of increasing profits by decreasing the concern for the  women they claim to serve.

If there was ever a strong case for for the proven value of government regulation and safety inspection this is it; and yet the Governor wants to do the opposite of what we do to other industries that put profits over safety, health and clean environments.

Please reject the Governor's proposed weakening of women's health and safety standards in the abortion industry.

Very Sincerely,

-Pat
