Preserve Vital Health and Safety Regulations for Virginia Women

Abortion center regulations are essential for the health and safety of Virginia women and must be maintained, not weakened.

The suspension of operations at a Fairfax abortion facility due to 26 health and safety violations proves that the regulations are working and must be preserved as is, not watered down. The abortion industry has fought regulation for years, yet repeatedly independent inspectors find serious deficiencies, even during announced inspections. Abortion centers are not able to self-regulate. Abortion is not healthcare because it ends lives instead of healing them. However, since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Simply, Virginia women deserve nothing less.”

Abortion is not natural, not safe & ends life rather than protects it. It is amazing to me that my 15 year old daughter could not get her in grown toenail cared for without my presence but not one week later she was able to visit the same clinic, get a pregnancy test, receive medication & receive a referral for abortion counceling without my knowledge. Fortunately she was already well aware of the value of the life within her & resisted the overt attempts by numerous individuals in the school system & by her "family" councelor to pressure her toward abortion. My grandson turned 21 in February. His life is no more or less valuable today then it was in 1995. His mother's life is equally no less or more valuable then it was as well. Abortion ends one life & risks the other needlessly. Reasonable regulations are not a burden on women they are an asset.
