This change in Virginia regulations does absolutely nothing to deter, stop or even slow down any criminal. Criminals do not care about laws, rules or common moral values. This change affects only honest, law-abiding citizens. I won't claim to know your intent, but it obviously has nothing to do with reducing crime or stopping criminals. I can only assume that the intent is exactly what it seems like - an open attack and attempt to criminalize honest law-abiding citizens who choose to be self-reliant and independent.
