@nd Amendment

This is obscene political pandering by the AG and Governor. It only impacts the law abiding citizens. I know for a fact that NC and LA is tougher then VA to purchase a handgun, and their CHP s require the same as VA or more. LA requires proficiency demonstration which Virginia does not.

What our attorney general doesn't understand is he just made Virginians less safe when they leave the state of Virginia, He is also delusional to think that those that carry concealed illegally are going to even care about his law change.

"means that it will be more difficult for potentially dangerous individuals to conceal their handguns here in Virginia and that will make Virginians safer"

Dangerous individuals do bother with getting permits.  Law abiding armed citizens prevent crimes daily.

Those that want to conceal that are dangerous will not care nor obey this law and the law abiding citizens are now in a position where they will be unarmed to defend themselves when they travel to the states that will no longer recognize Virginia CCW. Bad move AG!
