Senseless disarming of citizens

My first thought on this "emergency" ban  was, "What is the emergency? What harm has come from a law abiding, concealed carrying citizen in a state agency building?" I don't believe there has ever been an issue, and certainly not one in recent years that comes to mind.

It is a politically driven, senseless act to leave citizens unprotected. If one person wants to cause harm to another person or people, they are going to do so regardless of whatever laws are in place. This ban makes such buildings an easier target for people like that. They know they will encounter no resistance. Therefore, the governor is intentionally placing his citizens in more danger. That doesn't sound like very good leadership to me.

Finally I request that the comment period be extended another 30 days.
