Governor McAuliffe courting criminal, terrorist violence with this action

I’m writing to express my disgust with the "emergency" executive order signed by Governor McAuliffe to ban concealed handgun permit holders from carrying firearms in state government buildings.

To go out of his way, explicitly targeting a group of about 400,000 people who have undergone background checks and committed zero violent crimes is ludicrous, bordering on insane.

Instead of “protecting citizens and state employees,” he’s inviting the kind of mass murder we’ve seen recently in Paris and California where violent attackers are allowed to carry out their mayhem against an unarmed population unchecked until the police show up.

This ill-advised regulation should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
