Only a brain addled idiot, would think that disarming law abiding citizens from any place where it was legal to carry for many years before he came to office; is going to keep anyone safer than they were before. It is not the governments job including the police, to keep an individual safe. 

The Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that police officers at all levels of the government have no duty to protect the citizens of this country. 

It is the job of police officers to investigate crimes and arrest criminals.

We are on our own for protection.
