Gun-free zones, like those now proposed by Executive Order in our Commonwealth, disarm only the persons who already obey the law -- making them more vulnerable to the criminals, who don't care about the law (as has been proven time and time again)!  

I've come to conclude that the reason you want to restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens is that you easily can -- by definition, we will obey your laws.  You've essentially given up attempting to disarm the criminals, because they won't cooperate.  You don't vigorously enforce the existing laws against gun possession by, for example, convicted felons.  If you did, and if you insisted on a significant mandatory sentence for any violation, there would be fewer guns in the hands of the law-breakers.  But that would be hard!

Guns are not the problem -- criminals and terrorists are!
