When a cheetah runs down a gazelle, the gazelle will kick, stamp and try to gore the cheetah with its horns. No one would ever suggest that it is wrong for the gazelle to attempt to avoid being killed.  Nor would anyone think that cutting the horns off of all gazelles would make them somehow now free from the risk of becoming cheetah chow.There are only two types of animals on this planet: predators and prey. This is unfortunately true among humans. There are those criminals who prey on the weak and helpless for their own profit. Our governor however seems to think that either the citizens of Virginia will be some all free from attack if only we were helpless enough, or perhaps that we simply do not have the right to attempt any defense. 

I most vehemently disagree! I think any one who considers the situation will as well.
