The right to carry should not be taken away by a weak Governor.  As a retired Military member who has defended the freedom of all Americans, this is a stupid proposal.  Why arm criminals who don't care about laws to do what they want and terrroize law abiding citizens who end up defenseless.  I urge ALL VA citizens to support Concealed Carry Permit Program for all those who are capable.  Additionally, request the time period be extended to allow more common sense comments be provided to our Governor to show that this effort is not in the best interest of the public.
