Unreasonable denial of constitutional rights

There is absolutely no basis for the Governor's "emergency" measure to prohibit lawful citizens from carrying firearms in VA government buildings. There have been zero incidents to invoke such an emergency - and in fact, most of the violent / terrorist acts in this country occurred in GUN FREE zones.

So contrary to the Governor's good intention. his actions make us all more vulnerable, and less safe.

We urge you to respect our freedoms as Virginians, as Americans, as law abiding citizens.

This comment is also a request to extend the comment period to allow all Virginians to weigh in on this important issue.
