No permanent prohibition on concealed carry in VA government buildings

This proposed regulation is an abrogation of the 2nd Amendment and the natural right of every individual to self-defense.  Prohibiting firearms guarantees only the bad guys will have guns. Disarming good citizens (who are the only ones likely to obey the prohibition) does not make them safer. The proposed regulation is contrary to Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution of Virginia, "That all men are by nature free...and have certain inherent rights,..." and cannot be deprived of "... pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety."  Therefore, the Executive branch has no authority to institute a regulation disarming citizens in state agency venues or anywhere else.

This regulation should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
