The proposed change will unnecessarily disarm the law abiding citizens of Virginia.  It will require handguns to be left unattended in vehicles instead of under the control of permit holders.  This does not increase our safety but endangers us.  Criminals and terrorists will not obey this edict and it will only help them perpetrate their violent acts.

I ask that this regulation be withdrawn for the good of Virginia.
