I am a retired Law enforcement officer with 41 years of service.  I served 11 years as a Virginia Beach Police Officer, 22 yeaqrs as a NCIS Special Agent and the remainder as a LE instructor.  I taught college level law enforcement classes and am a former instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, GA.  My experience and training has shown me that "gun free zones" are unsafe to law abiding citizens and encourage targeting by terrorists and criminals. Gun free zones are ineffective and a bad idea!
