Why institute more ineffective and dangerous regulation?

Disarming good citizens and off duty police officers (who are the only ones likely to obey the prohibition) does not make anyone safer.

The proposed regulation instead protects only terrorists, violent criminals, and mentally distrubed indivudals out to do harm.  Furthermore there have been zero shootings in state agencies.

I'm deeply concerned about how the Governor lacks any authority for this regulation.  If the General Assembly wanted the Governor to have such power, they would have granted it to him explicitly, as is required constitutionally.

This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
