The governor's gun ban is disasterous to public safety

The gun ban in public places instituted by Virginia's governor is both unconstitutional and detrimental to public safety. It is unconstitutional because the 2nd ammendment guarantees our right as citizens to keep and bear arms. By limiting where those arms can be bore you are basically going against the exact language of the 2nd ammendment. Secondly by limiting the ability of properly trained and licensed individuals to concealed carry their firearms you are creating a security risk for the areas where anyone can't carry. Should we rely on police to respond to a crisis when they are up to 30 minutes away? That would give a gunman 30 minutes to wreak as much havoc as their black little heart desires and as we have seen from countless school shootings having a gun ban in an area does not deter criminals from bringing a gun into that area. All you do is limit how a responsible citizen can react to a potentially deadly situation. In closing, this exective order is both legally and morally wrong and should be nullified as soon as possible.
