Open and Concealed Carry

Let me start with, this proposed measure only effects Virginia residents that have been through extensive background checks already. In order to receive a Concealed Handgun Permit, the VSP (which is under the supervision of the Governor) does a background check. Why would you disarm people that have been vetted and checked by the VSP which you oversee? I believed, much like several other people, that innocently enough people need to be taught despite their ignorance. You are not ignorant, you know this is an ineffective way of preventing gun violence and these are not common sense solutions to gun deaths. I believe now that measures that only effect Law Abiding Citizens are malicious in nature. Enacting this EO is not designed to help, it is done with the intent of causing harm and possible death.
