I strongly oppose this unlawful restriction of my right to self defense

The proposed regulation has no basis in fact. If I have somehow missed the data, please email them to me. There have been no incidents involving a person in lawful possession of a firearm or a person with a valid concealed handgun permit causing any problems inside of a state agency here in the Commonwealth. This regulation is in search of a problem that does not exist. It will also dangerously affect those state employees who might wish to protect themselves, and now are deprived of doing so on the sole basis of working for the state. Honorably serving the Commonwealth of Virginia should never come at the expense of one's rights.

This unlawful regulation should not be approved and the "emergency" regulation withdrawn.
