state-agency gun ban

As a native Virginian who has defended the Commenwealth and his family's safety and liberty, I urge that this emergency be withdrawn, as there is no need, and a permanent ban be removed from consideration.  As you are aware, the ability of Virginia and its citizens to keep and bear arms is a fundametal right that assisted in founding this Commonwelath and nation.  Removing this from legal Virginians only empowwers those who seek to take liberties through threat, force, and coercion.  Law enforcemtn is but one part of the defense in depth strategy that has protected and will continue to protect us Virginians, but we are all an integral part.  Since law enforcement has no duty to pretect us, only we can protect ourselves and that should not end at any public border.
