Gun bans endanger citizens and restrict our rights - don't tread on me!

A gun free zone is a dangerous area. I feel safer when I and my fellow law-abiding citizens are carrying firearms to protect ourselves and our families wherever we go. If only one or two...or five...of the people at Virginia Tech and these other horrific tragedies had been armed, many lives could have been saved. This country's reaction of gun control simultaneously attacks the rights of its people and renders them defenseless, while criminals find themselves much more at ease entering a home or a place of business knowing that it is becoming less and less likely that they will be stopped.

A fire extinguisher should be in every public place, every government building, and every home...because sometimes bad things happen, and the fire department is not always as timely as someone at the scene who can immediately put out the fire. Likewise, responsible gun owners should be able to protect themselves and their loved ones in every public place, every government building, and in their homes...because the police are not always timely and we simply can't wait 40 minutes or even 10 minutes to save lives.
