Why is Virginia supporting criminals and not the public?

Gun free zones are what criminals look for when they want to terrorize the citizenry. Since 1950 thee have only been two public massacres that have been outside of gun free zones. Sandy Hook, Aurora, San Bernardino, Umpqua Community College, Chattanooga recruiting centers,Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, etc.. have all been in "Gun Free" zones. Too bad the criminals didn't adhere to the laws then; why would you expect them too now?  Why would we want to create more safe havens for criminals to act? Is the state going to provide additional security at every one of these locations to protect those that can't protect themselves? If parking lots are included then I would be forced to leave my residence unprotected for all of my errands or risk being forced to break the law. This bill is a bad idea and I support additional comment time of 30 days.
