What is the rational for the emergency ban?  There is no threat from good citizens and disarming them will accomplish nothing but recklessly endangers innocent lives.  In addition, the Governor has no authority for this regulation. If the General Assembly wanted the Governor to have such power, they would have granted it to him explicitly, as is required constitutionally.  This proposed regulation is nothing more than Governor’s attempt to push his personal agenda upon the citizen of Virginia.
