Gun Ban does no good

Never has a legally carried firearm in a State facility been the cause of gun violence.  Disarming residents makes them a victim, by not allowing them to defend themselves in a manner they choose.  Banning firearms from state buildings means that only criminals will carry firearms in state buildings and this is not what we want.

Allow people to protect themselves and instill that fear/hesitation into a criminal's mind when they enter a state building.  Make them think twice about how many people may be able to defend themselves, rather than have the confidence of knowing that all the people inside are unarmed and defenseless.

Remove the gun ban now.  It violates our state constitution and endangers our residents!
