Do not impose dangerous "gun-free zones".

The Governor's proposed plan to ban legal firearms from state agencies is dangerous and stupid. It creates more "gun-free zones" which are a proven danger to public safety. Nearly every mass public killing in the last 65 years has been in a "gun-free zone" because criminals and killers understand that such places mean they will be unopposed while killing of committing other crimes.

Secondly, there is no need to impose this dangerous ban. The Governor is imposing a ban for purely pollitical purposes when a problem does not currentl exist. He will make these places less safe purely to earn political credit with anti 2nd Amendment activist groups that funded his campaign.

Additionally, the Governor has no lawful authority to impose this ban. It will likely be struck down in court, and will only waste Virginia's taxpayers money.

In summary, the Govornor's proposed ban on lawful carry in state agencies is dangerous to public safety, serves no purpose, and is an illigitamate use of power that will ultimatley be struck down. This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.

Thank you.
