My husband and I respectfully ask that you vote to maintain the current health standards for abortion clinics throughout Virginia. It is appalling to think that basic medical standards for procedures were not followed and that sanitation violations were found in many of these clinics before legislation for standards was passed. To think that these standards may be rescinded is unacceptable. Concerning this issue which is a "womens rights" issue, to provide substandard procedures and cleanliness is a gross violation.
