The proposed regulations with regard to clinics that do abortion procedures should be based upon science only, and not politics. It is clear that the proposed regulations are just a way to prevent women from exercising their reproductive health care rights. These regulations will  not improve health outcomes and will only serve to force women to go elsewhere, whether out-of-state, or to disreputable providers, to get an abortion. As the mother of an adopted child, I am thankful that he was not aborted by his birthmother, but I respected her right to choose. These restrictions are just a veiled attempt to keep women from exercising that right.
