Thank you for voting to amend the medically-unnecessary and highly restrictive regulations for abortion providers in Virginia. I volunteer at a Planned Parenthood clinic and have seen first hand how women rely on the education, birth control and health services offered in addition to safe, legal abortions. It is important that as the Board moves forward, it does so with the intention of keeping trusted women’s health care centers open. It is imperative that affordable access to safe, legal reproductive health care is protected for all Virginia women.
