Department of Health inspections of abortion centers have uncovered widespread health and safety violations, including blood splattered exam tables and equipment, unsterilized equipment, poorly or untrained staff, violations of state parental consent laws, and the lack of reporting of possible cases of child sexual abuse. The lives of Virginia’s women matter and need the protection of these abortion center regulations. I encourage the Board of Health to protect the lives of women by maintaining and strengthening the current regulations. Dale Sherman
