Please do NOT undo the common-sense-safety regulations we have in Virginia.  Abortion is a very hard decision for any woman and to be forced to endure an abortion in a clinic that is not fully equipped with emergency equipment in case something should go wrong does not make sence and puts women in danger.  Previous testimony has shown that some abortions have been done in Virginia under unsanitary conditions and some in buildings where it would be impossible to get a stretcher down a hallway if needed.  Please do not go back to allowing unsafe conditions for women who are seeking surgical abortions.

I would encourage you to take a tour of several abortion facilities in our state and see for yourself.  Ask quesstions of the staff and look for equipment that would be standard in any surgical setting.  Please keep our loved ones safe!
