Thank you for your public service to ensure the health and safety of Virginians, including women who seek abortions.I am shocked that we are considering lowering basic standards of care and competence, standards that have long been required by every other out-patient surgical clinic for years. Why do women seeking abortions not deserve the same quality of care afforded to others" I beseech you to maintain the restrictions and standards required for abortion clinics in VA currently required by law, and ensuring their compliance through diligent inspections and mandated correction, and if and when necessary, closures until corrective action is completed. To do anything less is neither promoting safety nor health, and it is not pro-women nor pro-Virginia.Lets ensure Virginia is a state known for its commitment to excellent health and safety of ALL its residence.
