Board of Health,
If we are going to continue with the barbaric practice of killing the unborn, the industry should be regulated much more than it is. The protection of the women involved is the #2 priority. Saving the unborn is #1.
In this country everything is over-regulated for "our best interest," except the abortion process. This is not about us, its about the bottom line of the providers. If that was the case in all medicine, we would be a third world country.
Therefore, as we continue this awful practice in the name of choice, the women who elect to use it should be as completely protected as the women who enter hospitals every day to give live birth. The government gave its blessing for women to choose, it should regulate the practice to the maximum for the protection of the women choosing this procedure as well as the baby that survives the procedure. Nothing else is acceptable. Claudia Ely
