Board of Health,

I have been in and around pregnancy center work for about a decade and want to add my voice in this process. I serve as CEO for a group in Fairfax County. I want to voice my support for NOT changing the regulations regarding health and safety standards.Too many violations of present standards, dangers represented in many of the abortions being done are a couple reasons why I believe Virginia needs to maintain a strong stand regarding health and safety of abortion clinics. We do not want a "Gosnell repeat" in our fair state and I support any legislation possible to ensure that the best interest of the patient at an abortion clinic is represented (even though I personally do not support the choice of abortion). If someone is going to go that route they should at least expect to enter a facility that is clean, sanitary, attentive to their needs and have many safety factors built into the process. So, again, I implore you to vote to maintain the strong and clear standards that are presently in place in the Commonwealth of Virginia regarding the operation and accountability of abortion clinics.Respectfully,Stan KellnerChief Executive OfficerSanctity of Life Ministries/Nova Pregnancy Help Center10380 Democracy LnFairfax, VA 22030703-278-5433 (office) Stan Kellner
