Because abortion hurts women in so many ways, the least we can do is make sure the facilities comply with certain basic standards.  Keep in mind that many of these women are being pressured into unwanted abortions by their boyfriends or other family members.  Abortion actually gives men an easy path towards shirking responsibility, commitment, and child support.  Our laws should rather promote responsibility among men and protect women from the dangers of abortion.
