It is my understanding that just in the last two years, inspections have exposed widespread health and safety violations in abortion clinics including blood splattered exam tables and equipment, unsterilized needles, incomplete lifesaving equipment, violations of Virginia parental consent laws, an absence of reporting of possible cases of child abuse, and many more deficiencies.Women seeking abortions should expect at least the same health, sanitation, and safety standards in the abortion clinic they visit as they would find in other medical services clinics.
